I’ll start off that this is not beginner guide on how to play BD, this is more into in-depth guide and pro tips explaining every single things there is about BD to be mastered.

Movement

The most basic you have to master is movement, a lot of people seems to neglect the important part how important it is about moving squads, attacking, returning, recalling.

The 1st thing you need to know is that no matter how close or how far it is, attacking is always slower than moving to your own outpost or alliance’s outpost. And the cost of oils for attacking is larger than moving.

Minimum travel ETA = 2

Minimum attacking ETA = 3

Maximum travel ETA = 12

Maximum attacking ETA = 24

With that explained, before attacking a target, it is better to move closer to it first, before proceed with attacking. Of course this varies depending on situation, for example, in early of the game, it is acceptable to attack from long distance due low income to build a lot of outpost.

You can also always recall squad that you’ve already launched, but think twice before you do because once you recalled, you cant send it back before the squad is landed from where was the squad launched from.

Advance Battle Tactic

Last Minute Tactic (LMT)

Last minute tactic is the most basic battle master always use. Its very simple, execute action on last minute before a tick ends. By doing this you wont reveal your tactic and giving you a tick of advantage.

Tag Play

Ambush Tactic

Fai’s Arrow Head Tactic

The main purpose of this tactic is to precisely calculate incoming battle by using a spam squad to get battle report right before the real battle started. This tactic is simple, send a spam squad 1 ETA ahead of proper troops. Very useful if you cant be certain of a scan result.

Fai’s Camp Camping Tactic

The main purpose of this tactic is to camp troops inside of a camp outpost. This tactic use the priority of an outpost that tends to get attacked or scanned by. People tends to pay attention mostly to Gates, Nuke / Dragon Outpost, Radars, Normal Outpost, and lastly camp outpost by order. This tactic is risky and by luck, you actually might survive slipped pass deep inside enemy’s territory.

Kelden’s Camp Trap Tactic

The main purpose of this tactic is to lure enemy squads into your trap. Not necessarily a camp outpost, any outpost will do as long as you have a spy with hundreds or even thousand of spy ticks to assure winning condition. Play tag until the enemy simply walk into your trap. Lockdown and spy attack according to chassis.

Kelden’s Wreck Camping Tactic

The main purpose of this tactic is to hide your army inside invisible and invincible outpost of a wreck. This is actually a game bug and I do not recommend this to anyone. However this is still a very damn useful.

To use this tactic simply send a squad to take a wreck, if any by chance spawned just nearby your army. Then send your army behind that squad. Your 1 squad will return to origin however your army or any allied squads will stop and hover inside wreck outpost. Only you and your alliance members can see this invisible outpost thus making this invisible to enemy also invincible as it is not attack-able.

Aoki’s Fake Run Tactic (FRT)

The main purpose of this tactic is to confuse the enemy. You can use this tactic to further combine other combination of tactic or just delaying enemy’s squads. This tactic involve in purposely sending squad in early beginning of tick (after refresh) or few minutes before LMT execution.

Example of FRT execution:

At the beginning of tick, purposely send squads somewhere to fake it out so the enemy would thought you are running to that outpost.

The enemy most likely will attack that outpost, however this is just a fake run.

Using LMT recall your squad and run into other outpost thus why this tactic is FRT (Fake Run Tactic)

On next tick the enemy will be confused and this delay them by 1 tick or more depends on situation and how well FRT were execute. However this is not the only way FRT can be use, you can combine several combination and produce various confusing tactic on the enemy.

Aoki’s Tail Recall Tactic (TRT)

The main purpose of this tactic is to re-take a lost origin outpost during tag play. This tactic involve in recalling a squad or a spam squad to re-take outpost that lost using LMT.

Having friendly outpost over hostile outpost is always big difference in tactic battles. By using this tactic, you can try to combine other tactic and produce your own battle tactic as situation allow to.

Example of TRT execution:

In situation of Tag Play where the enemy squads is chasing and trying to kill your squads, and you want to evade it by making new outpost and moving into it.

And as usual, moving to friendly outpost only cost you 2 ETA.

While if the enemy squad continue to pursuit your squads, they will have to take 3 ETA.

However you will lose the origin outpost, making enemy is on advantage. This is where TRT come into play. What you need to do is recall a squad, preferable a spam squad back to origin outpost using LMT (Last Minute Tactic)

By the next tick, you will surprised the enemy by having both origin, and new outpost on your advantage. This open up for you more advantages to combine more tactic into your hand :)

This is the end – This post is still in construction
